You Got
the Role.
Now Own It.
A 4-weekend live coaching experience that turns newly responsible managers into confident, respected, promotion-ready leaders.
Whether you were promoted, brought in from outside, appointed, seconded, or handed a team because things moved fast — one thing is the same across all of it.
Nobody prepared you for what comes after.
Not your degree. Not your years of experience. Not the person who gave you the role. Nobody sat you down and said: here is how you lead people who used to be your equals. Here is how to handle the direct report who is older than you and knows it. Here is what to do when someone on your team goes above your head. Here is how to push back on your boss without going invisible.
You were moved up. Congratulated. And left to figure the rest out.
⏰ Early Bird pricing closes May 29. Registration closes June 12. Sessions begin June 13. The managers who move first are the ones who arrive prepared.
This Is What the Accelerator Changes
They Announced Your Promotion. Nobody Announced What Comes With It.
It does not matter how you arrived in this role. Maybe your name came up in a meeting you were not in and the next thing you knew, your title had changed. Maybe you applied, competed, and earned it. Maybe you were appointed, seconded, or brought in from outside to lead a team already formed without you.
However you got here, the experience from the inside looks roughly the same.
You were sharp as an individual. You delivered. People came to you when things needed sorting. And now you are responsible for people. Their performance, their morale, their development, their politics, and on some days, their moods.
Nobody warned you that leading people is a fundamentally different skill from being good at work.
Your team is watching. Not aggressively, but they are watching. They are reading every meeting you run, every decision you hesitate on, every conversation you avoid. They are forming conclusions about you. And in Nigerian organisations, those conclusions form fast and travel faster.
And your former peers, the ones who are now your direct reports, the ones who now report to you as their line manager, who know exactly how you used to talk about managers when you were one of them, they are watching most carefully of all.
This is not overthinking. This is the real texture of what it means to be new to authority in a Nigerian workplace.
This is not a character flaw. It is a preparation gap. The gap between having the title and owning the room. Between surviving the first year and becoming the manager your organisation is glad they kept. That gap is exactly what the New Managers Leadership Accelerator was built to close.
Dr. Abraham Owoseni
Human Capital Development Expert · Training Manager · Author of 27 BooksDr. Abraham Owoseni is not someone who read about leadership and decided to teach it.
He holds a Ph.D. in Learning Environment and Architecture, which means he thinks structurally. He does not just teach concepts. He designs systems for how people grow, how organisations function, and how new managers either rise under pressure.
Over 15 years, he has worked with more than 66,000 professionals across Nigeria, across Africa, and in the diaspora. Inside tech companies, NGOs, government institutions, faith organisations, universities, and startups. He has sat across from new managers who were performing fine on paper while quietly coming apart inside. He has helped them find their footing before the organisation found out they had lost it.
He currently serves as Training Manager on a national workforce development programme. He is not speaking from theory. He is active inside organisations, working with the exact pressures and realities your workplace operates under.
He has held 26+ leadership roles across industry and academia. He has authored 27 books, including titles that have shaped how professionals from Lagos to London to Ontario think about work, leadership, and life. He has created 10+ proprietary frameworks, including the Lead-a-Ship Framework, the 3Ps Model, the THIN-KING Mental Architecture, and the Life Harmony Framework, tools being applied in institutions and organisations across the continent.
He has received 15+ awards for his contributions to leadership, education, and human development.
He is not here to inspire you for 48 hours and leave you to sort out the rest. He is here to give you a system. One that works on Monday morning inside the specific organisation you are actually in, with the specific team you are actually managing.

Four Saturdays. Eight Hours.
A Foundation That Shapes the Rest of Your Career.
Each session is two hours of live, focused coaching. No slides you could have read by yourself. Every minute is built around one thing: giving you something you can use the following Monday morning inside the organisation you are actually in.
Before any framework, something else has to happen. You have to be honest about where you actually are. Not the version you project in meetings. The real version that has been quietly carrying the weight of this role since the day you stepped into it. We name what is happening, why it is happening, and install the identity commitment that anchors everything the accelerator builds from here.
After this session, you will be able to:- Name your specific leadership gaps without performing confidence you do not yet have
- Understand why what you are feeling is intelligent, not a disqualification
- Define the precise kind of leader you intend to become, specifically, not in general terms
- Walk into Week 2 with a defined leadership intention rather than just a hope
The Promotion Trap: Being promoted is an event. Becoming a leader is a process. Most new managers confuse the two and spend the first year waiting to feel ready instead of deliberately becoming ready. This session ends that confusion.
Your title says Manager. Your actual job is to lead. And leadership does not only flow downward toward your team. It flows upward toward the person who appointed you, who is currently watching to see if they made a good call. Most new managers get the downward direction partially right. They get the upward direction completely wrong because nobody told them it existed as a skill. Week 2 fixes both.
After this session, you will be able to:- Understand your team at a depth most managers take years to develop
- Communicate upward with authority rather than anxiety or over-explanation
- Know your default leadership style and when to consciously shift it
- Walk into the relationship with your own boss in a fundamentally different way
Leadership in practice is largely about conversations. The ones you handle well build your reputation quietly. The ones you avoid become the stories people tell about you when your name comes up in rooms you are not in. This session goes deep into the five conversations that define whether you are genuinely respected or just tolerated, and installs the No-Rescue Rule that will end the 10pm work habit.
After this session, you will be able to:- Have the conversations you have been postponing, with structure rather than just courage
- Give feedback that changes behaviour rather than creating resentment
- Delegate in a way that sticks, including when people attempt to hand it back
- Address performance problems before they calcify into team culture
- Navigate the former peer relationship with authority on both sides
No new frameworks. Just integration, testimony, and launch. You complete your 90-Day Leadership Blueprint and read your commitment aloud to the cohort. Accountability pairs are formed. Certificates are presented. Then Dr. Abraham convenes a live fireside conversation with practising managers at different stages of the journey. Real stories. Real roads. This is not a rehearsed panel.
What you leave with:- A written 90-day leadership plan, specific to your role and your actual team
- An accountability partner from your cohort who holds you to it
- A named leadership brand statement describing how your team experiences you at your best
- The kind of testimony from real people that makes everything feel not just possible but probable
The fireside guests are an inside reveal — shared exclusively with registered participants before the session. What we can tell you: they are practising, they are credible, and they have been exactly where you are.
Five Resources Included.
Each One Built for Exactly This Season.
These were not added to make the offer look larger. Each one addresses something real that new managers face in the weeks and months around this transition — things the four sessions alone cannot fully cover.
Lead-a-Ship — Selected Chapter
You read this before Week 2 and arrive at that session already thinking differently. The chapter that reframes what it means to captain a team you did not fully choose, on waters that are new to you, without a map that fits the territory you are navigating.
The Thinking Leader — Selected Chapter
The mental architecture underneath everything you will experience in this accelerator. Not a summary. The actual chapter. It gives you the framework for thinking like a leader rather than performing like one. Once you read it, everything else in the programme lands differently.
Career Architecture Masterclass
A promotion is a moment. A career is a structure. Most professionals in Nigeria are managing their careers reactively, waiting to be noticed, hoping the next thing arrives before the current thing runs out. This masterclass teaches you how to think architecturally about where this role fits in the larger design of your professional life.
The Life Harmony Masterclass
New managers face a specific risk nobody warns them about: doing well at work while quietly falling apart in every other area of life. Relationships pushed aside. Health postponed. This masterclass, built on the Life Harmony Framework, teaches you how to stay whole during one of the most demanding seasons of your career.
The Self-Diagnostic Leadership Assessment
Every new manager has blind spots. Habits that worked perfectly as an individual contributor but become visible liabilities the moment you are responsible for other people. Your team will find these blind spots. This resource helps you find yours first, before they cost you trust, results, or the respect you have worked hard to build.
From People Who Have Sat Exactly Where You Are
Real accounts from real people across different programmes and coaching engagements with Dr. Abraham. Read them and ask yourself whether this transformation is one you want for yourself.
I've gone back to the drawing board to look at what ingredients my leadership style was lacking and fine-tune it to what actually works for me. I've been able to understand the ripple effects my mental state has on the people and the start-up I'm leading. Dr. Abraham Owoseni is a great and impactful teacher.
He has a rare ability to go into your thought process, gently challenge your assumptions, and help you see possibilities where you only saw problems. He navigates your mind, exploring your ideas, fears, and aspirations, and brings out strengths and potential you did not know were sitting there. This gave me a broader perspective and a renewed sense of purpose and confidence.
That workshop set me on the path I am currently walking. I defined what my dream work should look like. I got that job. I am now leading the operations of a global organisation across Sub-Saharan Africa.
In less than ten days, I was able to get clarity on my life, redefine my steps, and align my career properly. The coaching session was far above my expectations. He was ready, willing, and thorough in walking me through every area I found difficult.
I gained the perspective to move from just surviving to thinking about a journey of global relevance. Abraham Owoseni gave a perfect first impression. The warmth, the energy, the depth. I have never seen it done that way. I was overwhelmed.
Dr. Abraham is a remarkable speaker and teacher. I love the way he takes what seems complex and breaks it into pieces anyone can immediately work with. My entire approach to growth has changed.

You Did Not Work This Hard
to Figure It Out Alone
You earned this role. The people who put you there believed something about you. And if you are honest, you know the difference between the manager you are right now and the one you are capable of becoming.
The first year is the year that defines you in an organisation. Not year three, when you have settled. Year one, when the permanent conclusions are being formed, when everyone is watching, and when the margin for error is at its smallest.
The managers who close this gap early become the people leadership starts quietly preparing for the next opportunity. The managers who leave it open keep doing fine, technically fine, but somehow never quite land on the list when something better comes up.
You have already done the hard work of getting here. Now close the gap.
