Speaking Engagements
Delivered over thirty-two (32) external sessions in 2024 from various speaking invitations honoured and accepted as a keynote speaker and conference/workshop facilitator. Here are some highlights from the year:
In January 26th, 2024, I delivered a session on “Setting, Planning and Achieving Your Goals in 2024” for the Covenant University Alumni Association, CUALA 2011 Beacon Set. This workshop focused on practical strategies for goal-setting and execution, helping the alumni approach the year ahead with clear intentions.
Girls & Leadership: Developing Your Leadership Skills was delivered at the Vessels of Virtue Seminar for Girls, themed “Bed Undefiled”, on 17th February 2024. This session focused on empowering young girls to develop their leadership capabilities, building confidence, and navigating the challenges that come with leadership, especially in a world that often presents contradictory expectations for the female gender.
Developing a Growth Mindset in a Changing World was delivered on 10th March 2024 to the Junior Chambers International (JCI) at the University of Ibadan, offering insights on career and adapting to a constantly evolving world.
On March 29th, 2024, I ministered at the Good Friday Service for the Methodist Campus Fellowship at ESUT, delivering a powerful message on “Efficacy of the Blood of Jesus Christ”. The session emphasized the lasting power and significance of Christ’s sacrifice in the lives of believers.
Impactful Teaching: The T.E.A.C.H. Framework to Enhancing Learning Experience was delivered on 20th April 2024 at the Departmental Seminar Series at Covenant University. This session explored the T.E.A.C.H. framework, offering practical tools to enhance learning and teaching effectiveness.
On May 9th, 2024, I facilitated “Leadership Development: The Force of Personal Value System” at Covenant University, as part of the Diploma in Leadership Development (DLD) program. This session focused on the critical role of personal values in leadership, encouraging participants to anchor their leadership styles in strong ethical principles.
On May 4th, 2024, I also led a session titled “Service with Style and Smile: Elevating Customer Experience” for The Elevation Church Seeds Children’s Ministry. This workshop equipped the ministry admin team with tools to enhance service delivery and create a positive environment for children within the church.
Startup Leadership Masterclass: Navigating Entrepreneurship Growth from Where You Are – Fireside Chat Moderator on 17th May 2024. This session focused on helping budding entrepreneurs understand how to make strategic moves from where they are, emphasizing practical, resourceful growth strategies.
Leadership Challenge of Creativity and Innovation was delivered as part of the Diploma in Leadership Development (DLD) module at Covenant University on 21st May 2024. The session emphasized how leadership can drive innovation and creativity within organizations and teams, helping leaders foster an environment where new ideas can flourish.
In June 29th, 2024, I had the opportunity to speak at the Lights on Mountain Conference, delivering a keynote session titled “Breakthrough: The True Picture of Success”. This session aimed to redefine success, offering attendees a clear understanding of what true success looks like.
On June 3rd, 2024, I also spoke at the Postgraduate PG Aspire 7.0 Symposium at Covenant University, as a panelist on the theme “Unboxed: Redefining Limits and Embracing Possibilities”. The session challenged postgraduate students to break through personal limitations and embrace new possibilities in their academic and professional journeys.
On July 17th, 2024, I held one of the key highlights of the year, “Sex Education & Relationships: Wisdom & Clarity to Fulfill Destiny [Boys Only]”, a workshop for Covenant University Secondary School (CUSS), where I provided the entire male students with essential guidance on navigating relationships and sexual purity.
On July 12th, 2024, I delivered a session at the Take Your Life Back Conference, titled “Winning Against All Odds: Succeeding Despite Limitations”. The workshop was designed to inspire attendees to overcome personal challenges, focus on resilience, and leverage their inner strength for success.
Preparing for NYSC: Towards a Total Graduate (TTG) Program, Covenant University on 27th July 2024. This session focused on helping final-year students prepare for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), offering career tips and personal development strategies to make the most of this pivotal life stage.
Additionally, I was part of the team of mentors for the Dream Centre Growth Camp, where I delivered two sessions for the Career Kickstarters Cluster: “Career Pathway and Discovery” on September 7th, 2024, and “Life Skills for Professional Careers: Essential Life Skills Crucial for Workplace Success” on September 21st, 2024. These sessions aimed to provide recent graduates and young professionals with practical tools to navigate their career paths and excel in the workplace.
Navigating the Next Phase of Life After School was held on 13th July 2024, where I had the privilege of addressing the Final Year Brethren (FYB) of the Winners Campus Fellowship at the University of Lagos (Unilag). This session offered practical strategies for transitioning from university life to professional and personal development in the next chapter.
On July 28th, 2024, I also facilitated a session on “How to Prepare for the Future through Personal Development” at the CURVE Development Programme with the theme, “Navigating the Bend to Adulthood, Professionalism and Exploit.” CURVE, an acronym for Courage, Understanding, Responsibility, Values, and Expectation, is a personal development initiative that helps young people transition successfully into adulthood and their professional lives.
Your Attitude and God’s Purpose: Towards a Lasting & Peaceful Marriage was a workshop delivered for the Amazing Singles’ Fellowship on 10th August 2024. This session focused on how one’s attitude can influence relationship dynamics and how understanding God’s purpose for marriage is key to a lasting, peaceful union.
On August 19th, 2024, I had the privilege of speaking at the Blossom Initiative-Batch 4 and the Inaugural Boys of Valour initiative of the Seedtime Foundation, delivering a workshop on “Goal Setting: How to Prepare and Arrive at a Great Future”. The sessions provided practical strategies for setting and achieving long-term goals.
Later that August 15th, 2024, I ministered at the Annual Youth Alive Convention (AYAC) of the Living Faith Church, where I spoke on “Obstacles to Academic Excellence” and helped participants in the post-secondary breakout session develop strategies for overcoming academic challenges and thriving in their educational pursuits.
On October 1st, 2024, I delivered the keynote session “From Teacher to Lifesavers: Moulding Lives and Shaping Destinies” at the Re-Form Teachers’ Conference in Abeokuta. This session focused on empowering educators to see their role as life-changers and destiny-shapers, inspiring them to have a lasting impact on the lives of their students.
